Peak District Milkyway | Magpie Mine

Oooooosh! Fire sky last night! 🔥☄️ Best skies ive ever seen for Peak District with some bonus meteors about too. Three shots to make this, a two minute exposure for the foreground with a bit of torch wafting by mr.Elliott to light the building, then a two minute tracked shot of the sky with my Skywatcher Star Adventurer, then another two minute tracked expo of the sky wafting an Alyn Wallace Star Glow filter infront of my lens by Kase Filters to give that extra pop round the stars, all shot on my astro modded Canon 6dmk1 with Canon 16-35f4mkii, f4 iso 800 and blended in Photoshop. Beaut night boys, finally got my fix 🥰🙌

Here are the images in order, first the two minute foreground shot

Then two minutes with the tracker turned on

Then a final two minute wafting the star glow filter infront

Here is the image all stacked together

And ofcourse the final process, basically levels and curves in Photoshop and colour balance to suit

Prob the best im gonna get from the Peak District to be fair but not too bad for an hours drive away. Hope you enjoy and clear skies!
